The Solo Scenarios you can do them only once per character and they are part of the story progression (similar to the story progression quest of the 5.1 Operation: Shieldwall).
The actual entrance to the raid instance will be open after we have progress inside the island, until then you can zone to the raid instance through the way Lore is describing.
You need to have a bare minimum of 1500 VP at the 1st day of the patch. With the 1000 VP that you will be able to earn during that first week you will be able to buy a Neck at neutral and a Ring or Wrist at friendly (1250 VP for each item). If you want the Trinket from friendly the bare minimum goes up to 2000 VP. Preferably you want to be caped. Neutral: Neck 1250 Friendly: Ring 1250, Trinket 1750, Wrist 1250
With the release of Patch 5.2: The Thunder King, the vast Throne of Thunder raid will become available. As in previous raid tiers, Raid Finder wings and availability difficulties will be staggered.
This is our current schedule based on a planned patch release date of March 6. If the patch is delayed, or if we determine any change is needed, we’ll update this article.
March 6 – Normal Throne of Thunder
March 13 – Heroic Throne of Thunder and LFR Wing 1 "Last Stand of the Zandalari"

Version 3 of the guide, 20 chests, i got something like 15 on my 1st attempt, very easy, just don't be to greedy in the room where you cc the mobs.

Works surprisingly well! Although, the guy in the video has some awesome spawns of chests in that run, so don't expect to get just as many.

Currently, since i've basically just done it once on each toon, and am going for elder charms atm, i was following preachgaming's guide to easy elder charms, which is basically just the first room round in a circle, collecting every chest... don't know how just going for gold's compares in terms of elder charms?
