Based on yesterdays bashing of Vodka i realized that maybe everyone not aware that the PVP gear ilvl does not include or account for the pvp power/resi. Here's a comparison of 2 plate chests, one honor, one form heroics. Not the very similar stat distribution between the two pieces, even though one comes complete with additional pvp stats. http://www.wowhead.com/items=4.4?filter ... :1;crv=0:0 Based on this it could be very worthwhile gearing via conquest points, the ivl of the gear is 483 and it is currently incredibly easy to win 10 games in 2v2. |

A quick update to this, the conquest cap has been increased to 2200 per week, this results in being able to farm 1 piece of gear a week from arena/bgs of thr 483ivl variety. Further to this the patch 5.1 changes introduces ivl upgrades for gear using conq points. Allowing you to upgrade a 483 item to 491. If you're still rocking 463 ilvl gear you may want to consider farming some conq points for some easy gear. |
