Seems to imply that a lot of people (smurfers) are put in the Gold Nova/Master Guardian ranks fairly quickly and from that point onwards it's a lot of work to rank up. |

I'm not sure you can draw to many conclusions from these graphs as they're based on responses from a reddit poll and thus reflect the rank of people that browse reddt/r/GlobalOffensive more than anything. I heard/read that when ranking you cannot rank higher than Master Guardian Elite or somewhere around that level so that's partly why you see a lot of smirfs in the gold nova ranks. |
