Don't know about you guys but I'm very excited about this game!!!
Even if they manage to accomplish half of what they are promising it will be a great game. I think... or at least I hope so because I'm so excited!!!

It's probably not bad, but I'm one of the people who think WoW is enough time spent online - for now.

I found a very interesting article World of Warcraft Player’s Guide to Guild Wars 2. It is short and does not go in much depth about GW2 but it talks about some major GW2 differences, similarities and misconceptions from a WoW's player perspective.

Some very basic points:

• 3 Servers fighting against one another
• 4 huge maps connected, 1 map for each server (server home map) and 1 central map
• characters below level 80 will be adjusted so they are roughly equivalent in power to what they would be at level 80
• keeps, towers, siege weapons, NPC guards
• upgrades for structures and NPCs
