I believe lesser charms will remain, however they're also adding timeless coins:

You can also get 535 gear from timeless coins. Although its a bit convoluted.

Bloody Coins have nothing to do with lesser charms and bonus loot, it's for the new FFA PvP system they adding in the Timeless Isle.
